Venture Factory programs are designed for businesses, innovators, and individuals wanting to improve their managerial capabilities. Programs target the needs of both individuals and management teams. We stress the importance of developing "super-teams" within an organization. These are developed through 21st century management approaches. We'll show you how to optimize productivity as you launch or operate your business.
The Business Booster
The Business Booster Program is for established businesses and entrepreneurs who want to accelerate the growth of the their business. They recognize they need management training in order for them to grow their existing operations. The program combines self-assessment, management training, coaching, and peer-mentoring over a 6 month period. Participants will benefit from business assessments, strategy discussions, instruction, access to tools & templates, and innovative ideas that come from a group a like-minding individuals.
Program Objective: Improve business performance through improving management approaches, skills, and operational capabilities critical to business success. The Business Booster gives you tools to build and align super-teams.
Business Reach
Building relationships is critical to any business. Our business reach program works to build relationships within local communities and industry supply chains. Activities include collaborative activities to market products and services through existing resources and channels to reach audiences. "1+1 = 3" through cross-branding, group participation, and sharing experiences/resources. The business reach program, through its strategic relationship with Antix Media provides access to the Antix advertising platform and Antix Edmonton, a marketing channel that supports local business reach audiences in Edmonton.
Program Objective: Improve the performance of your marketing campaigns and establish a cost-effective channel to collaboratively promote services.
Innovation Storms
Innovation sessions are designed to explore topics related to business, economics, social structures, and the environment. Typically 60 to 90 minutes, an Innovation Storm starts with a problem or opportunity statement that can be explored through analysis and debate. Factory-led Storms focus on topics that support our business community: barriers to diversification, working with the public sector, economic enablers, reaching new markets.
Program Objective: Introduce and explore opportunities & business challenges; develop future-state models and collaborative approaches to reduce barriers; develop trust-based relationships between participants; increase the profile and leadership capabilities of the group.
Events and Training
Venture Factory events and training sessions are designed for business owners and mid-career professionals looking to improve their management skills. Our program offers an alternative when existing commitments limit your ability to take a business/management degree. Our industry-based training approach delivers core skills, shared experiences, and applied knowledge through analyzing read-world situations affecting factory members. Courses typically run over 3 days.
Program Objective: Introduce/develop management skills, tools, and resources that can be used "on-the-job". Develop the confidence of managers and their ability to delegate and control activities within their authority. Help individuals understand the traits of a successful manager.
Other Business Services
We manage a group of preferred suppliers that offer group-buy discounts. These programs and services are made available through members of the Venture Factory community. Our quality assurance and referral program is designed to reduce the effort to find the right supplier for services such as marketing services, office space, insurance, health benefits programs, rentals, and administrative support.
