Our programs are designed for businesses, innovators, and individuals involved in managing growth. Non-members have access to events and materials; however, members benefit from a broader program that encourages interaction and collaboration. Our business programs - including coaching, the Business Booster, Community Reach, and others - are restricted to members. (See Benefits of Joining)
Events and Training
Venture Factory events and training sessions are open to both members and non-members. Members benefit through priority access and pricing discounts. Our events and training are designed for business owners and mid-career professionals looking to improve their management skills. Our program offers an alternative when going back to school for a business degree is not viable due to existing commitments. Our industry-based training approach delivers core skills, shared experiences, and applied knowledge through analyzing read-world situations affecting factory members.
The Business Booster is for established businesses and entrepreneurs who want to accelerate the growth of the their business. They recognize they need management training in order for them to grow their existing operations. The program combines self-assessment, management training, coaching, and peer-mentoring over a 6 month period. Participants will benefit from business assessments, strategy discussions, instruction, access to tools & templates, and innovative ideas that come from a group a like-minding individuals.
Innovation sessions are designed to identify market opportunities that impact members and their businesses. As networking events, innovation sessions are open to non-member s and provide an opportunity to discuss ideas and techniques to commercialize products. Quarterly sessions are structured around one of three core themes: Driving the business, increasing productivity, and developing product & services. (Free for members to attend)
The Community Links program is accessible to members and non-members. Activities help individuals and companies promote themselves and their products. The program encourages interaction and trade within the member community. Collectively, members benefit from exposure and facilitation of collaborative supplier-customer relationships.
The Business Reach program is designed to increase sales while reducing delay and risks associated with poorly defined marketing programs. Member companies benefit from peer discussions, cross-branding, and channel leveraging. Business Reach develops a brand voice that extends beyond the voices of our members. The best part is that it costs less than working independently!
Our business coaches are available on a retainer basis to support do it yourself entrepreneurs that need occasional support, or an external eye, when faced with barriers or complex growth opportunities. Our team of certified management consultants (CMC) provides new perspectives, insight, and management tools that can be used to examine capacity and weaknesses.
Other Business Services
We are constantly adding other services to support the needs of our members. We manage a group of preferred suppliers that offer discounted services to members. Our quality assurance and referral program is designed to reduce the effort to find the right supplier for services such as insurance, benefits programs, facility rentals, phone services, and other administrative support.
